Hi all, I am on day 6 of the 31 Day Challenge, and still going strong! Check out my wonderful pals who are also participating, Raine and Jonochi at Lacquer Lily and Just Add Polish.

Today's challenge is purple! I decided to go with a theme like I did for my blue nails for yesterday's challenge. For whatever reason, Downton Abbey came to mind. I've recently gotten really into the show, I can't get enough! I finished the first three seasons in about one week's time...I am sad to wait until the fall to see more. To fill the Downton void, here's some Downton Abbey themed nail art!



The pattern nails were done using two coats of Color Club Pucci-licious with Butter London Marrow stamped on using a design from the RA-120 stamping plate. The accent nail is the Downton Abbey logo on top of two coats of Butter London Muggins. The logo is a homemade decal like the one I used for yesterday's nails, and I filled in the bottom half of the nail with black using a Stripe Rite Nail Art Striper.

In case you were wondering what the bright and dark purple design had to do with Downton Abbey, I used the pattern at the top of the DVD box art cover as inspiration.


Do you see it? Unfortunately I didn't have the right shades of purple for this, but I made do with what I had. I'll be taking a break from the 31 Day Challenge tomorrow to post my much requested Legend of Zelda nail art tutorial! Until then, thanks for reading!
